INCENTIVES TO STAFF OF THE HIGHER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS
This is with reference to Commission Circular No.483 dated 3rd August 1991, on the above subject.
Please note that paragraph 01 is amended to read as follows:-
" The University Grants Commission having considered matters pertaining to severe shortage of staff in the Higher Educational Institutions, especially in the Faculties of Science & Medicine, decided that the teachers/officers who spend their sabbatical leave locally be permitted to undertake Academic/Administrative activities in the other Higher Educational Institutions/Institutes/UGC on contract basis, during the period of such leave."
