This Circular has been cancelled by Circular No : 821



Your kind attention is invited to Commission Circular No.599 dated 02 March 1994 and Commission Circular No.688 dated 17th September 1996.

The University Grants Commission at its 575th meeting decided to amend the existing scheme of recruitment of the post of Audio Visual Technical Officer Gr II as stipulated in the annexed schedule.



The amended scheme of recruitment is effective from 15.04.2001.

Please take action accordingly.

Audio Visual Technical Officer Gr II
A-05
By Open Advertisement (i) (a) Diploma in Technology of the open university or special engineering apprenticeship certificate issued from 1975 or antional diploma for engineering technicians issued from 1989 by the national apprenticeship board or national in technology or city and guilds final certificate in the field of electronics or power together with one year's experience in relevant video work.

OR

(b) Diploma in educational technology or Diploma in audio visual techniques of a recognized polytechnic or university provided the courses for the diploma in educational technology or the Diploma in audio visual techniques
are of two years experience in relevant video work.

OR

G.C.E (O/L) Examination in 06 subjects at not more than two sitting or equivalent or higher examinaton with not less that 10 years experience in audio visual work.

(II) Age- Not more than 45 years.
