SCHEME OF RECRUITMENT - POST OF SENIOR STAFF TECHNICAL OFFICER

The University Grants Commission at its 595th meeting held on 31.08.2001 approved the marking scheme stipulated in the annexed schedule for promotion to the post of Senior Staff Technical Officer. The amended scheme will be applicable with effect from 01st October 2001.

With the implementation of this Circular, the following Circulars have been rescinded.

• i Commission Circular No. 686 dated 14 th August,1996.
• ii Commission Circular No. 361 dated 01st March,1988.
• iii Commission Circular Letter No.17/1989 dated 13th November,1989.
• iv Establishments Circular Letter No.06/1999 dated 06th July,1999.

Please note that the marking scheme stated herein is relevant to the post of Senior Staff Technical Officer specified under the new designation in Commission Circular No:787.

Please take action accordingly.
