INCREASE OF BURSARIES AND ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIPS
The University Grants Commission at its 418th meeting held on 8th July 1994, decided to increase Bursaries and Endowed Scholarships by Rs.250/= per instalment w.e.f. 1.7.1994, in keeping with the decision taken by the Mahapola Trust Fund Board to increase the value of Mahapola instalments by Rs 250/ =.
With the increase, the students who are in receipt of Bursaries, Endowed Scholarships and Mahapola Scholarships should be paid the following rates.

The Mahapola Scholarships are financed as follows :-

The Bursaries and Endowed Scholarships are financed by the UGC.
Please take payments accordingly and submit monthly re-imbursement claims to the UGC in the form currently being used.
