RECRUITMENT OF ACADEMIC/ACADEMIC SUPPORT STAFF
Your kind attention is drawn to Commission Circular No.495 of 15th October, 1991.
I would like to emphasise the need to appoint members of Academic/Academic Support Staff strictly in terms of schemes of recruitment formulated by the Commission.
If suitable applicants cannot be found for any particular post, Higher Educational Institutions are kindly requested to re-advertise such posts in order to avoid appointment of persons with lesser qualifications.
Provisions of this Circular are effective with immediate effect.
