SCHEME OF RECRUITMENT FOR THE POST OF BOOK KEEPER
This Circular has been modified by Circular No : 685
Your reference is drawn to Commission Circular No.587 of 05th October 1993 and the Scheme of Recruitment for the posts of Book- Keeper Grade II Segment "B" and Grade I.
The University Grants Commission at its 434th meeting has approved the amendment to the Scheme of Recruitment for the post of Book-Keeper in the following manner :-
(a) The period of 10 years of experience required for promotion to Book-Keeper, Grade II Seg. "A" be reduced to six (06) years and a written examination be conducted to determine the suitability of employees concerned.
(b) The period of 15 years of service required for promotion to Book-Keeper, Grade I be reduced to 10 years.
The existing Schemes of Recruitment for the posts of Book- Keeper Grade II Seg."B" and Book-Keeper (Supra Grade) will remain unchanged.
The amended Schemes of Recruitment for the posts of Book- Keeper, Grade II Seg."A" and Book-Keeper, Grade I together with the existing Schemes of Recruitment for the posts of Book - Keeper, Grade II Seg. " B ", and Book-Keeper (Supra Grade) are annexed to this circular.
The provision of this circular are effective from 01st March 1995.
Please take action accordingly.
