PAYMENT OF FEES LEVIED BY THE HIGHER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS FOR COURSES OF STUDY
Your attention is drawn to Commission Circular Nos. 415 dated 28th January 1990 and 471 dated 09th April 1991 issued in respect of the above matter.
The Univernity Grants Commission at its 512th meeting has decided to authorize the Governing Authorities of the Higher Educational Institutions/Institutes to nominate employees on the basis of requests made by the Heads of Department/Divisions for short term courses, training programmes and workshops conducted by Institutions other than Universities/Institutes for upgrading their knowledge and skills required to perform their duties efficiently provided funds are available for this purpose.
The provisions of this Circular will come into force immediately.
