SHOE ALLOWANCE TO EMPLOYEE OF THE UGC AND HIGHER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS/INSTITUTES
This Circular has been amended by Circular No : 624
This is in addition to Commission Circular No.306 dated 9th December, 1980 issued in connection with Shoe Allowance and Laundry allowance to Nursing Staff of the University Grants Commission and the Higher Educational Institutions.
Having considered the representations made by other categories of employees regarding enhancement of existing a mount of shoe allowance the University Grants Commission decided that the shoe allowance to the Nursing Staff enhanced from Rs.200/- p.a. to Rs. 300 /- p.a. should also be extended to the other employees of the Commission and the Higher Educational Institutions who are entitled to a shoe allowance.
These new rates will come into force with effect from 01st March, 1989.
