TRANSFER OF STATUTORY BODIES (NON-COMMERCIAL ENTERPRISES) FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC ENTERPRISES
Under the institutional strengthening programme of the Ministry of Finance & Planning, the Treasury has decided to transfer the functions related to non-commercial statutory boards to the National Budget Department from the Department of Public Enterprises. All treasury functions of the Higher Educational Institutions listed in Annex I, which were earlier handled by the Department of Public Enterprises, will now be handled by the National Budget Department.
Ministry of Finance & Planning Circular No. PED/Admin/01 dated 19.03.2008 issued in this connection is enclosed for your information.
