RE-EMPLOYMENT/EXTENSION OF RE-EMPLOYMEMT
1. The Commission has decided to adopt the recent Circular Letter issued by the Secretary, Ministry of Finance and Secretary to the Committee of Secretaries on re-employment.
2. Accordingly, the form of application annexed to this Circular will have to be filled in future when requests are submitted to re-employ/extend the re-employment of retired Government/Corporation employees. This form of application replaces the earlier form sent along with Commission Circular No.410 of 30th October 1989.
3. You are requested to submit seven copies of this form along with the recommendation of the Governing Authority well before the commencement of the contract period in order to submit such requests to the Commission for its approval. Further, the Secretary/Ministry of Finance and Secretary to the Committee of Secretaries on re-employment has informed the Commission that the requests should be placed before the Committee of Secretaries 03 months before the proposed date of commencement of the contract period in order to make timely decisions.
4. Please be so good as to bring these instructions to the attention of all relevant officers and request them to adhere to the instructions strictly.
