PAYMENT OF TRAVELLING ALLOWANCES
Your attention is drawn to Commission Circular No.418 of 31st January 1990, issued in connection with the above matter.
The Commission at its 320th meeting held on 1st April 1991, decided to revise the travelling allowances payable to the members of the UGC, Governing Authorities and Academic and Administrative staff of the Higher Educational Institutions/Institutes according to the Public Administration Circular No. 234 of 29th December 1983, adopted by the Establishments Circular Letter No.03/1984 of 21s t March 1984.
Accordingly, the mileage rate payable will be Rs. 6/ - per mile with effect from 01.05.1991.
