APPOINTMENT OF VICE-CHANCELLOR / DIRECTOR OF INSTITUTE


Further to Commission Circular No.670 of 22.02.1996 on the above subject, the Commission has decided that when applications are invited for the post of Vice-Chancellor/Director of Institute, the applicants should be required to submit, along with their Curriculum Vitae, a vision for the development of the University/Institute and a brief account of what he/she proposes to achieve if appointed to the post of Vice-Chancellor/Director. Where the present incumbent is an applicant, he/she should in his/her report, highlight the contribution made to the development of the University/Institute concerned during his/her first term of office and plans for the future. The statement submitted by the three nominees recommended by the Council/Board of Management should be sent to the UGC along with their CVs.
