Appointment of Project Directors/Co-ordinators to the Faculties of Medicine
Having considered the recommendations of the Standing Committee on Medical and Dental Sciences with regard to appointment of Clinical Sub-Deans, the University Grants Commission at its 565th meeting held on 9th June 2000 decided to allow the councils of Universities to appoint Project Directors/Co-ordinarors up to a maximum of five for each Faculty of Medicine from the Grade of Senior Lecturer and above.
The Commission also decided that the allowance payable to Project Directors/Co-ordinators should not exceed the allowance paid to the Heads of Departments.
Please take action accordingly.
