FEES PAYABLE BY FOREIGN STUDENTS
Your attention is kindly drawn to Commission Circular No.435 of 16th March 1990 whereby the fees payable by foreign casual students was based on the fees given therein on a pro-rata basis. The UGC at its 332nd meeting held on 10th September 1991 also decided that foreign students who register in universities as casual students, merely for the purpose of affiliation without any formal teaching inputs from the university, or without working full-time in the university should pay 1/3rd of the annual fee.
The revised rate will come into operation with immediate effect.
