REGULATION GOVERNING THE GRANT OF TRANSPORT LOANS TO UNIVERSITY EMPLOYEES
The Commission at its 593rd meeting held on 27th July 2001 decided to revise the present scheme of penalties imposed for those who do not produce documentary evidence in support of the transport loan. The revised penalties are as follows:-
- (1) To recover the loan in double instalments from those who do not produce documentary evidence to support the loan.
- (2) First time defaulters wffl be entitled for another transport loan after a period of 5 years from the date of the first loan .
- (3) Defaulters for the second time will forfeit their rights for a further loan.
This circular will have immediate effect.
