SCHEMES OF RECRUITMENT FOR THE POSTS OF LITHO ARTIST - (HIGHER GRADE) , CAMERA OPERATOR, (HIGHER GRADE), LITHO MACHINE OPERATOR (HIGHER GRADE) LAYOUT AND PLATE MAKER (HIGHER GRADE), PURCHASING OFFICER (GRADE I )
The University Grants Commission at its 694th meeting held on 06th October 2005 has granted approval to amend the existing schemes of recruitment applicable to the following posts by reducing the requirement of service from 10 years to 07 years as effective from 01.01.2003. The schemes of recruitment amended accordingly are indicated in the annexed schedule.
Litho Artist - Higher Grade
Camera Operator - Higher Grade
Litho Machine Operator - Higher Grade
Layout and Plate Maker - Higher Grade
Purchasing Officer - Grade I
2. The University Grants Commission has further decided to grant the incremental benefits of one increment for each year of service completed in excess of 07 years in accordance with the new schemes of recruitment implemented by this circular up to a maximum of 03 increments in the following manner:-
(a). The employees who are presently holding the above posts be granted the incremental benefits as stipulated in para 2 above and they be placed at the relevant salary point as effective from 01.01.2003. Payment of arrears if any, can be made only from 01.01.2003.
(b) In the case of employees who are eligible for promotion under the new scheme of recruitment implemented by this circular be granted incremental benefits from the date of their promotion as stipulated in para 2 above if they have completed more than 07 years of service in the A-05 grade as at 31st December 2002. Payment of arrears if any can be paid from 01.01.2003.
