PAYMENT OF EQUALIZATION ALLOWANCE TO MEDICALLY AND DENTALLY QUALIFIED TEACHERS IN THE FACULTIES OF MEDICINE AND DENTAL SCIENCE AND MEDICAL OFFICERS/DENTAL SURGEONS IN THE HEALTH CENTRES BASED ON PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION CIRCULAR NO: 06/2006 AND GENERAL CIRCULAR NO:02-114/2006 ISSUED BY MINISTRY OF HEALTHCARE AND NUTRITION
Your kind attention is invited to Commission Circular No.886 dated 16th January, 2007 issued on payment of Equalization Allowance to Medically and Dentally qualified teachers in the faculties of Medicine and Dental Sciences and Medical Officers/ Dental Surgeons in the Health Centres.
02. The Commission at its 760th meeting held on 24th July 2008 has decided to pay the Equalization Allowance to the Medically/Dentally qualified teachers attached to any Faculty of the University System.
03. In view of the above decision, the Equalization Allowance paid to Medically and Dentally qualified teachers in the faculties of Medicine and Dental Sciences and Medical Officers/Dental Surgeons in the Health Centres by Commission Circular No. 886 should be extended to the Medically and Dentally qualified teachers attached to any Faculty in the University system.
04. The other provisions in Commission Circular No.886 dated 16th January 2007 will remain unchanged. The provisions of this Circular will be effective from 01.08.2008.
