ALLOWANCE FOR THE PURCHASE OF RESOURCE MATERIAL REQUIRED FOR TEACHING, RESEARCH AND DISSEMINATION OF KNOWLEDGE ( " BOOK ALLOWANCE " )
An allowance of Rs.10,000 /- per annum per person will be paid from 01.01.1993 onwards to teaching/research staff in the grades of B-05 and above, BS-02 and above, and graduates in the other B and BS grades, for the purchase of resource material required for teaching, research find dissemination of knowledge. This amount will be paid in quarterly instalments at the beginning of each quarter. The date of payment for the first and second quarters of 1993 is subject to the availability of funds.
From 01.01.1994 the allowance payable will be Rs.10,000/- per annum PLUS 10% of the annual basic salary and the annual backlog clearance allowance. This will be also paid on a quarterly basis at the beginning of each quarter.
