PAYMENT OF AN ALLOWANCE
This is further to Commission Circulars No.564 of 15th March 1993, No.608 of 30th August 1994 and No.614 of 26th December 1994.
The University Grants Commission at its 433rd meeting held on 30th December 1994 has approved the payment of an allowance of Rs.600 /- p.m. per person with effect from 01.01.1993 to all non-graduates in the "CS" categories of permanent staff of AUCs, in terms of Commission Circular No. 564.
You are kindly requested to note that the provisions made in this Circular is subject to the provisions of Commission Circular No. 614 of 26th December 1994.,
All employees who were in service on 01.01.1995 are entitled to payment of arrears.
The allowance payable should be taken into account for the purpose of Provident Fund contributions, payment of gratuity and in fixing the 60% limit when calculating the limits of deductions for loans granted.
Please take action accordingly.
