SCHEME OF RECRUITMENT FOR THE
POST OF COMPUTER OPERATOR (HIGHER GRADE)
This Circular has been modified by Circular No : 769
The University Grants Commission at its 437th meeting held on 24th February 1995 has decided to reduce the period of 15 years of service to 10 years of service in the existing Scheme of Recruitment required for promotion to the post of Computer Operator (Higher Grade).
Accordingly, the amended Scheme of Recruitment ia as follows:-
| Post and Salary Code: | Computer Operator (Higher Grade) A-06, CA-06 |
|
| Qualifications : | A Computer Operator ( Lower Grade ) who has completed 10 years satisfactory service in that grade or has spent one year on the maximum of the salary scale may be considered for promotion. | |
| Method of Recruitment: | By promotion. Selection by interview. |
The provisions of this circular are effective from 1st April 1995.
Please conform to the above Scheme of Recruitment when filling the post of Computer Operator (Higher Grade).
