SHEME OF RECRUITMENT FOR THE POST OF DENTAL NURSE

Your attention is drawn to Commission Circular No.390 dated 10th January, 1989.
The University Grants Commission at it s 434th meeting held on 13th January, 1995 has approved the following amendments to the scheme of recruitment for the post of Dental Nurse :-
i. To amend the scheme of recruitment for the post of Dental Nurse Grade II by inclusion of three (03) Advanced Level passes in Science subjects for the recruitment of external candidates.
ii. To reduce the period of service of 12 years required for pro m otion of Dental Nurse, from Grade II to Grade I, to 10 years.
iii. To create a post of Dental Nurse (Supra Grade) on the A-05 salary scale.
The new schemes of recruitment for the posts of Dental Nurse, Grade II, D ental Nurse Grade I and Dental Nurse (Supra Grade) are annexed.
The provisions embodied in Commission Circular No. 390 on the schemes of recruitment for the post of Matron - Faculty of Dental Sciences and Matron (Special Grade) - Faculty of Dental Sciences as amended by Commission Circular No. 479 remain unchanged.
These amended schemes of recruitment are effective from 01st March, 1995.
