IMPLEMENTATION OF CABINET DECISION ON INDUSTRIAL DISPUTE BETWEEN NON-ACADAMIC STAFF OF THE UNIVERSITIES AND THE UNIVERSITY AUTHORITIES
(REVALIDATION OF CIRCULAR ON COMPENSATION TO EMPLOYEE WHO MEET WITH ACCIDENTS ON THEIR WAY TO OFFICE AND BACK HOME)
Your kind attention is invited to Commission Circular No, 748 dated 30th July, 1999 on the above subject.
The Commission having considered the clarifications sought by the Universities at its 551th meeting held on 12th November, 1999, decided that the payment of compensation to the University Employees who suffer injury whilst on duty will be determined by the Governing Authority of all Institutions / Institutes, on the basis of the recommendation of the Medical Board as specified in Public Administration Circular No.346 dated 08th October 1986.
Please take action accordingly.
