PAYMENT FOR ASSESSMENT OF RESEARCH

Your reference is invited to Circular Letter No. UGC/E/4/4/17 dated 15th April 1980.
The University Grants Commission has decided to revise the payment for assessment of research publications of academic staff for appointments to Associate Professorships/Professorships on merit. The revised rates indicated below are effective from 1st October 1995 :-

| (i) | Local Assessors | Rs.300/- | Rs.3000/- |
| (ii) | Foreign Assessors | £10 | £100 |
