PAYMENT TO THE ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICERS AND FINANCIAL OFFICERS OF THE UCG AND HIGHER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS/INSTITUTES TYPING AND PREPARAtioN OF THESIS/DISSERTAtiON FOR POSTGRADUATE DEGREES/POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMAS.
Your kind attention is invited to Commission Circular No.650 dated 16th October 1995 issued on payment to the Administrative Officers and Financial Officers of the UGC and Higher Educational Institutions/Institutes for the typing and preparation of Thesis/Dissertation for Postgraduate Degrees.
The University Grants Commission at its 519th meeting held on 17th July 1998 having considered the recommendation of the Standing Committee on Staff Service Conditions, approved the payment of Rs. 50/- per page up to a maximum of Rs. 4000/= for the typing and preparation of Thesis/Dissertation for Postgraduate Diplomas required for promotions.
The payment will be made only after the production of three copies of the Thesis/Dissertation and certification of the award of the Diploma to the person concerned. The above provisions will also apply to the Academic Support Staff (BS) and other officers who are in the C and A salary codes.
Provisions of this circular are effective from 10.03.1995.
Pleace take action to implement this decision accordingly.
