RATES OF PAYMENT IN RESPECT to EXAMINATIONS CONDUCTED BY THE POSTGRADUATE INSTITUTIONS
Your kind attention is invited to Commission Circular No. 642. of 11 September 1995.
The University Grants Commission at its 459th meeting decided to revise the rates of payment specified in
Circular No 642 in the following manner.
(a) Page 1 (4) Supervision of Research/Postgraduate work (per supervisor)
(a.) One Year Rs.600.00
(b) Two Years Rs.1000.00
(c) Three Years Rs.2000.00
(b) Include the following as Item (10) of the section containing rates of payment for examinations conducted by all Postgraduate Institutions.
(10) Oral/Viva
(a) M.Sc./ M.Phil Rs.100/- per candidate per examiner
(b) Ph.D R.s.200/- per candidate per examiner
The amended rates of payment will be effective from 01st May 1995, the date on which Circular 642 came into effect.
