AMENDMENTS TO THE SCHEME OF RECRUITMENT FOR THE POST OF
SENIOR ASSISTANT SECRETARY/SENIOR ASSISTANT REGISTRAR
Your reference is requested to the scheme of recruitment for the post of Senior Assistant Registrar/Senior Assistant Secretary sent along with Commission Circular No.440 of 02nd May 1990.
The University Grants Commission at its 482nd meeting held on 15th November 1996 has decided to amend the qualifications stipulated in the scheme of recruitment of that post. A copy of the Amended scheme of recruitment is attached herewith. This amended scheme of Recruitment is effective from 15th November 1996.
Once the Committee appointed to examine and report on Efficiency Bar requirements finalizes its report, a separate Circular incorporating amendments to the existing Efficiency Bar requirements will be issued. The rules that were in operation up to 31st December 1996 with regard to Efficiency Bar requirements will continue to be valid until such time as a separate Circular is issued revising the Efficiency Bar requirements.
