REVISION OF SALARIES AND ALLOWANCES PAYABLE TO EMPLOYEES OF THE UNIVERSITY GRANTS COMMISSION AND THE HIGHER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS/INSTITUTES
This is further to the Commission Circular No, 380 of 30th September 190U, issued in connection with the new salaries of employees in the categories of A-05 to A-14 (Non-Academic and Non-Administrative grades),
02. At its 252nd meeting held on 26th November 1988,the University Grants Co in mission approved the revision of salaries of the following category of employees of the UGC and the Higher Educational Institution/Institutes as follows:

| Trainees sent by Technical Colleges (Daily paid) | Rs.35.00 per day | Rs.40.00 per day |
The Trainee Technicians, Trainee Stenographers and Trainee Dental Nurses Who are on the monthly salary should be paid the additional allowance of Rs.150/- p.m. All daily paid employees should be paid the additional allowances of Rs.150/- p.m. on the formula adopted for the payment of the variable cost of living allowance.
These revised salaries are effected from from 1st January, 1988.
