PAYMENT OF FEES LEVIED BY THE HIGHER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS FOR COURSE OF STUDY

The Commission in compliance with paragraph (12) of the Agreement dated 6th June, 1989 entered between the "Anthar Viswavidyaleeya Vurutheeya Samithi Maha Sammelanaya " and the Secretary, Ministry of Higher Education, Science & Technology, the Chairman/UGC, the Vice-Chancellor 6 and other signatories, at its 280th meeting held on 7th November, 1989 dicided to authorise the Chief Executive Officers to approve the payment of fees levied by the Higher Educational Institutions in respect of courses of s tudy followed by the employees of various Higher Educational Institutions/Institutes.
The Higher Educational Institutions/Institutes should adhere to the following guidelines when authorising such payments.
(1)The Chief Executive Officer to ensure that not more than one personn per Department/Branch be released at any given time.
(2)If an employee interrupte his/her studies without anu valid reason, he/she should refund the course feet to the Higher Educational Institutions/Institutes.
The provision of this circular will come into force with effect from 10th November, 1989.
