AMENDMENT TO THE SCHEME OF RECRUITMENT FOR THE POST OF INSTRUCTOR IN PHYSICAL EDUCATION GRADE II AND FORMULATION OF SCHEME OF RECRUITMENT FOR THE POST OF SENIOR INSTRUCTOR IN PHYSICAL EDUCATION

Your attention is invited to the existing scheme of recruitment for the post of Instructor in Physical Education Grade II stipulated in Commission Circular No.431 of 06 th March, 1990.

The University Grants Commission at its 701 st meeting held on 05 th January, 2006 has granted approval to:

(i).	Amend the qualifications in the existing scheme of recruitment for the post of Instructor in Physical Education Grade II, by deleting the phrase "with not less than 08 years experience in that grade."
(ii).	Formulate a scheme of recruitment for the post of Senior Instructor in Physical Education assigning BS-01 salary scale.

The amended scheme of recruitment for the post of Instructor in Physical Education Grade II & the scheme of recruitment for the post of Senior Instructor in Physical Education are indicated in the annexed schedule.

These schemes of recruitment are effective from 01.02.2006.

Please take action accordingly.
